昨日の空
↑ 上の写真は、昨日の空。 最近のフロリダは、天気が良いです。今のサウスフロリダの気温は、24℃から27℃前後。 2週間後に、友人がフロリダに来る予定です。寒い日にならないといいけど…1年に数日だけ、10℃ぐらいになることがあるから。 サウスフロリダの家には、冷房はあっても暖房がないところがたくさんあります。 うちは、暖房完備。暖房をつけた理由は、夫が寒さに弱いから。20℃以下になると寒いって言って上着を着たり、冬に日本に行ったらすぐ風邪をひいたり。温暖なところで生まれ育ったせいかな。 私は、今ぐらいの気温が一番好き。鼻炎持ちだから、涼しい方が鼻の調子が良くなるし。もう20年近く、雪を見てないなぁ。来年は見るぞ！(笑) 最近の悩みというか、ここ数年考えていることは、やっぱり将来のこと。実家について、本格的に考えないといけない時期が来たようです。 ブログにも時々書いていますが、私は1人っ子で初孫でいとこの中で唯一の女性。祖父と過ごした時間が一番長かったので、祖父は私を実家に住まわせて、良い人がいれば結婚させるというのが希望でした。でも、私は祖父の希望とは違う人を選んだから (前にも書いたとおり実話) 。 私が実家を出た時、いとこ達はまだ学生。後を継ぐだろうって思っていたら、みんな他の町に引っ越して、今は跡継ぎがいない状態。もう戻ってくる感じがしないし。家業があるわけではないので、そこまで深刻に考えなくてもいいけど、祖父との約束は守りたいなと。 母とは色々あったけど、今までやるべきことはやってきたつもりです。夫には交際中に伝えてあったので、30歳の時に今の仕事 (25年勤務で退職可能) に転職。家の修理の時や実家の行事には、一緒に参加してもらいました。 夫は日本の伝統について、どう思っているんだろう？ 夫も私と似たような家庭環境で育っているけど、家や家柄にこだわるのって日本人だけのような気がする…それとも、うちがちょっと違うとか？ 2週間後にフロリダに来る友人は、幼なじみの1人です。富山で会った幼なじみと同じく、35年以上の付き合い。また相談しようかな。 Photo by LILI @liliflorida on Tumblr Read more
