Like other bloggers posted, Christmas is a popular holiday. I have talked to many people from different countries (because of my job). They celebrate Christmas in different ways. Some people from Europe told me that the family tradition is to eat goose and seafood.
他のブロガーさん達も書いていますが、クリスマスは人気の祝日のようです。仕事柄、他の国の人達とお話する機会がありますが、みなさんクリスマスの祝い方が少しずつ違うようです。ヨーロッパからの人達いわく、伝統としてガチョウや魚介類を食べることもあるそう。
My favorite holiday is Hinamatsuri (Every year 3/3 and a cultural holiday). It is called Doll’s Day or Girls’ Day in English. There are special days not only for girls, but also for boys. It is Kodomo No Hi and called Children’s Day (Every year 5/5 and a public holiday) in English.
私の好きな日と言えば、3月3日の「雛祭り(桃の節句)」かな。特別な日は女の子だけでなく、男の子にも5月5日に「子供の日(端午の節句)」があります。

Hi Lili! I celebrate the standard holidays here in the United States. I would have to say my most important holidays are Memorial Day, Christmas and Thanksgiving! Hope you are having a great evening! Mike
