「ジェスチャーの重要性」
Using gestures is important to communicate with other people, especially with my mom, who has hearing issues.
ジェスチャーを使うことは、他の人とコミュニケーションを取る上で大切なことです。特に、聴覚障害のある私の母のように。
I wrote about my mom in Japanese. She has hearing loss. She is not deaf, but she cannot hear well.
私の母については以前、日本語のブログにも書きました。彼女は、聴覚障害者です。完全に聞こえないわけではありませんが、よく聞こえない状態です。
She uses hearing aids every day. In her case, she always has a ringing sound in her ears. So sometimes her hearing aids are useless.
そのため、補聴器を毎日使って生活をしています。彼女の場合はいつも耳鳴りがするため、時々補聴器が役に立たないこともあります。
She goes to the sign language school. Honestly, I feel sad because she is losing her hearing day by day.
彼女は手話学校に通っています。正直、日に日に母の耳が聞こえなくなるのは悲しいことです。
Next year, I want to introduce the Japanese sign language here.
来年、ここでも日本の手話を紹介したいですね。
