「牛角(Gyu-Kaku)」へ行って🦐のBBQ！
店舗数は少ないながらも、フロリダ州には日本の焼肉レストランがあります。その名も、「牛角(Gyu-Kaku)」。焼き肉レストランと言えば、ここではアメリカンレストランと韓国系レストランが人気です。私は魚介類や野菜類は食べますが、家畜の肉は食べない「ペスカタリアン(Pescetarian)」。そのため、肉料理がメインのレストランへ行くことは殆どありません。でも、牛角は日本の焼肉チェーン店でもあるので、行ってみました。 日本に居た頃はペスカタリアンでは無かったのですが、その頃に1度牛角へ行ったことがあります。私はその時、「ピリ辛たたき胡瓜」と「コーンバター」が美味しかったのを覚えていて、フロリダ州のお店へ行った時に、同じ料理が無いか探したところ似た料理がありました！ アメリカのお店では、ピリ辛たたき胡瓜は「Spicy Addicting Cucumber」、コーンバターは「Cheese Corn Butter」。味はと言うと、「ピリ辛たたき胡瓜」は日本で食べてもアメリカのお店で食べてもそれほど味は変わらず…「コーンバター」は、アメリカのお店の方はチーズ入り！ 大きな違いといえば、日本よりアメリカのお店のメニューの方が、ベジタリアン向けの料理が多いのと、提供されているデザートも抹茶系が多い… お肉の方はアメリカのお店で食べていないので分かりませんが、タレの味は同じなので、シーフードのBBQは美味しくいただきました。(^^) 魚介類さん達、ありがとう🙏 日本の牛角は高級店というイメージが私は無かったのですが、私が行ったフロリダ州のお店は、車の駐車は係員にお願いするバレーパーキング(Valet parking)、2人大人コース料理とキッズメニューを注文、チップ込みで合計250ドルぐらいになりました！ここで250ドルだと、高級レストランになります…(^^;) 次はどんな日本のチェーン店がオープンするかな… Photo by LILI Read more
