I read a lot of books when I was a graduate student.
I studied in the nonprofit management program before I entered the foreign language education program.
Later, I transferred to another graduate school.
My graduate advisor (an American professor) had teaching experience in Japan. He knew somewhat about Japanese, so I was allowed to compare and write about language differences.
