I like cleanliness and bathing in Japan. Those are more like customs than cultural tradition.

Last time, I wrote about restaurant hygiene.

Japanese streets are clean.

I miss Onsen (hot springs). According to the old document, monks, emperors, and samurai visited in the 8th century.

Onsen is tied to Buddhism and Shinto. In the past, natural waters were used for spiritual cleansing.

Here is the same. I take a bath, but the bathtub is not deep…

Since you referred to culture, Sanatan has its own elaborate bathing calendar.

I love this perspective. Japan’s cleanliness and onsen culture are truly special. There’s something peaceful and refreshing about bathing in natural hot springs.

Japan is an island country. So some cultures are traditional 😊
