Yesterday, we celebrated our wedding anniversary. We have been together over 21 years.
Some of you already know about how we met. I have written several times. We met at a Japanese university. He came from America, but he is originally from Cuba (he was born and lived until 20).
My major at a Japanese university was Spanish. One day, he asked me to spend his birthday together. As friends, we went to the Port of Nagoya. To be honest, I was his ideal woman. I was not interested in him. I was very busy and didn’t plan to have a boyfriend.
A few months later, we became lovers and lived together. He has not changed since then. He is still a serious person and hard worker.
When I was in Spain for study, he came and proposed. We got engaged in December of the same year. I was 22 and he was 28. After graduation, I worked in Japan. He changed jobs for a higher salary. A few years later, we got married, and our children were born in Florida.
I don’t know how to describe us: a Cuban husband, a Japanese wife, and American children. Maybe we are a multiracial and international family.

He likes natto (Japanese fermented soybeans). I can’t eat…😅

We met in our 20s and are now in our 40s. Time flies…
I met mine a glorious day of September 10 1990 in Paris an awesome life together until the lousy cancer took her away before reaching 60 in 2018. Memories forever, and plenty of rememberance in my blog. Thanks for the memories of always and best of luck to you and yours. Cheers
Oh…I am so sorry…🙏 Was yours an international marriage?
I convince her to come to Florida where our 3 boys were born and then she convince me to live in France.
