I think I wrote about my favorite movies before. So, this time I listed Japanese romantic movies.
1) NANA (2005)
Osaki NANA and Komatsu NANA moved to Tokyo. Osaki NANA is a band member who wants to be a professional musician and Komatsu NANA is a friendly girl. Somehow, two girls start living in the same apartment. Despite having different personalities, they bond their friendship.
2) Sky of Love 恋空 (2007)
The story begins with Mika losing her cell phone. Later, she finds it in the school library and starts communicating with the mysterious caller. His name is Hiro. Hiro is a delinquent boy. Mika was not interested in him, but little by little, they fell in love. One day, Mika notices that she is pregnant. She decides to give birth, but his ex-girlfriend pushes her behind and has a miscarriage. While their love is getting stronger, suddenly Hiro says goodbye to her without any reasons. In fact, he had cancer and can’t live long…
The sad thing is the main cast (actor) passed away a few years ago.
3) The 8-Year Engagement 8年越しの花嫁 奇跡の実話 (2017)
The movie is based on an autobiographical book. One day, Mai was diagnosed with anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis and stays for treatment in the hospital. She remains in a coma for 6 years. Her fiancé visits the hospital to see her every day. Suddenly, she wakes up from a coma and they get married.
4) Make a Bow and Kiss 一礼して、キス(2017)
Kishimoto An and Mikami Yota are members of the Japanese archery club at school. While they are practicing together, they fall in love.
5) Marmalade Boy ママレード・ボーイ (2018)
The movie is based on the popular comic series. The main story is about Miki and Yuu’s love story. One day, Miki’s parents say that they are getting divorced in order to swap partners with a couple. Miki starts living with another couple and their son, Yuu.
