I don’t know about myself in 10 years, but I know my husband will retire in the next 8–9 years. He got his current job about 17 years ago and has been working in the same position. He is not a military personnel, but he is a government employee. He will receive benefits at 55 years old, after 25 years of continuous active service. In Florida, some government jobs such as police officers and firefighters can receive retirement benefits after 20 years of continuous active service. Those jobs are physically harder than other jobs. My husband has a state license. His job is not physically hard, but mentally challenging.
10年後の自分についてはよく分かりませんが、夫が8～9年以内に退職することは分かっています。約17年前に彼は今の仕事に就いて、ずっと同じ職場で働いています。彼は軍関係ではありませんが、政府職員(公務員)です。25年勤続して55歳になると、手当の受給が始まります。フロリダ州では、警察官や消防士等の公務員は20年勤続すると、退職手当を受け取ることが出来ます。これらの仕事は他の仕事よりも肉体的にハードなので、そういう制度です。夫は、国家資格を持っています。彼の仕事は肉体的にはハードではないのですが、精神的にはなかなか大変。
I want to return to Japan. In my plan, I will continue to work as a teacher and also want to start a real estate business. More specifically, I want to do a property leasing and renting business with my husband.
私は日本に帰りたいです。計画だけですが、教える仕事をしながら、日本で不動産業を始めたいなと。具体的には、夫と一緒に不動産賃貸業をやりたいかな。
We don’t have debts now. Our two daughters will graduate from high school by then. We still have one son and one daughter, but they will help us. We will be okay if we don’t expect to be rich…
今、借金はありません。2人の娘達もその頃には、高校を卒業。まだ息子と娘が1人ずついますが、上の娘達が助けてくれるかと。お金持ちになることを考えなければ、何とかなるかな…
Also, I want to continue blogging. I have planned to manage my blog (this website) for 10-12 years.
それから、ブログも続けていきたいです。10～12年間は、自分のブログ（このホームページ）を運営するつもりです。

〇 The orange color means Florida. Orange is the official state fruit. オレンジ色は、フロリダを意味しています。オレンジは、フロリダ州の果物なので。
〇 The 12 flower petals mean I (with my kids) want to blog for 12 years. 12枚の花びらは、私 (と子供達) が12年間ブログを続けたいという意味。
〇 The flower stem means No. 6. We are a family of 6. 茎の部分は、数字の6を意味しています。これは6人家族から来ています。
