I wrote about my biggest challenge and accomplishment before. In my Japanese family, I am a first-generation college graduate. I didn’t have special skills, so I decided to stay at school longer than other people. To apply for schools in America, I needed to prepare and pass some exams. After entering school, I wanted to study harder and keep a good GPA for graduation. Once I felt stuck and had negative emotions, I couldn’t move forward. I had always been confident that I could do it and I have never said “No” to my challenge since I came to America.
And I have tried to find a mentor. To do so, I have a reason. I have never blamed my parents, but I couldn’t get the best advice from them about school. Instead of it, I could learn how to survive (without a high school diploma and college degree) from my Dad. He was a sushi chef and owned his restaurant. Even today, he can make yummy sushi and he knows how to entertain people.
I learned complicated literacy theory and math equations when I was a college student. But I don’t use this type of knowledge every day. Probably smart people may use, but I don’t.😅
I am a simple person. I don’t think too much.

“If you want to do something, just do it. No one is going to do it for you.”
This is exactly what I wanted to say.
