クリスマスの日まで数週間ありますが、昨日「バス・プロ・ショップス(Bass Pro Shops)」へ行ったら、サンタさんがいました。
There are a few weeks until Christmas day. Yesterday we went to Bass Pro Shops and met Santa Claus.🎅
ここのサンタさんはソリではなく、自分でジープ(Jeep)を運転して来ていました。(笑)
This Santa Claus came here by driving his Jeep instead of sledding.🤣
店内では、サンタさんと一緒に写真を撮ることができます。我が家では、毎年の恒例行事。いつもサンタさんがいるわけではないので、事前に予約をしてから行くと、スムーズに写真が撮れます。
Inside the store, we could take a picture with Santa. This is our annual event. Santa isn’t always there, If you make an appointment in advance before visiting, you can take a picture smoothly.
まだ三女が小さいので、今年も上の子供達3人だけ。来年は、一緒に撮れると思います。今思ったこと、次女の髪が伸びるのがとても早い…
My youngest one is a baby, so she is not in this picture. I think all the kids can take a picture together next year. Anyway, my second daughter’s hair grows very fast….🧐

そういえば以前、イタリア人から聞かれたことがあります。「日本ではクリスマスに、KFCのフライドチキンを食べるって聞きました。本当ですか？」って。
A long time ago, my Italian friend asked me, “I heard that Japanese people eat fried chicken on Christmas day. They order from KFC. Is it true?”
私はその時、「食べる人もいれば、食べない人もいます。私は食べませんでした」って答えました。本当に食べたことありません…
Then I answered, “some people may eat, but not everyone. I didn’t eat.” I have never eaten fried chicken on Christmas Day…😅
