I am back again. Last month, I posted more Japanese blogs than usual.
I have good news. My eldest daughter was promoted to green belt in karate.
And my second daughter created new stories. I needed extra time to edit her stories and translate them to Japanese. She used to have an imaginary friend when she was little. Imaginary friends are invisible friends that exist only in a person’s imagination. Her siblings and I have never had imaginary friends. That’s why I let her write. I haven’t forced her.
A few months ago, I posted her first story, “Rumble.”
I received feedback about the Japanese translation. I was not wrong, but I translated “He” as “kare” in Japanese, not as Rumble. In Japanese children’s books, the subject is either the main character’s name or omitted. I need to correct it later.
This time, I created English and Japanese versions separately.
In case,
- Angel (white cat): the main character and youngest
- Bella: Angel’s big sister
- Luna (black cat): Angel’s middle sister
★English (オリジナル/英語)
★Japanese (日本語)
My daughter has saved the original (English) version. I am posting my edited version for now. If she wants to edit in the future, then she can post again. I will translate the new version to Japanese.
