First, I share the good news. Do you see double rainbows? The sky is beautiful, right?
Second, I share the bad news. Heavy rain caused severe flooding in my hometown. About 104 mm (4.1 inches) of rain fell in an hour in Nagoya. The city subway and bus services resumed operations late at night.
I texted my friends and mom. They are fine.
In 2000, I experienced knee-deep water. This time, the situation is worse than before.

最初に良いニュースということで、2つの虹が見えるかな？空の写真もきれいに撮れたと思いますが、どうだろう？
次に悪いニュースなんですが、名古屋で1時間に104ミリを超える雨量で、洪水が発生。市内の地下鉄やバスは、昨日の夜遅くに運行を再開しました。
友人や母にテキストメッセージを送ったところ、無事とのこと。
私自身、2000年に膝まで水に浸かるほどの洪水を経験。今回は、それより深刻だそうです。

Hi, thank you for asking me 🙏 Yes, my parents are fine. They experienced the Isewan Typhoon (Typhoon Vera), so they live far from water.
My mom came back home after 11PM. She was hungry, and they went to the restaurant. She texted me about the extra charge 😅
