Juan Seguin Historic Park is located in La Porte, between the San Jacinto River and Buffalo Bayou.

Juan Seguin Historic Park:4407 Independence Pkwy, La Porte, TX 77571

Juan Seguin served as a political leader of Texans (Tejanos). He fought at the Battle of San Jacinto (1836) and led Texas to independence from Mexico.

The next to the park is the Lynchburg Ferry (also called Lynch’s Ferry) landing.

There is a seafood restaurant nearby. Next time, I am going to introduce it.
