On August 6, 1945, the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, and on August 9, the second atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. In the same year, World War II ended.
During the war, my grandpa was a fighter pilot, and his brothers were also soldiers. But he was the only survivor. His dad died when he was a child, so he had to support his mom and sister. At the age of 20, he married my grandma. They began living with his family in a small apartment. He worked hard for his family.
He often talked about the war. But he never said anything bad about America.
