I have had a habit of praying for my ancestors. If there were no ancestors, I would not be here today.
I used to carry a Japanese amulet called omamori. I am a Buddhist. I believed that carrying an amulet would bring me good luck. But I learned that good luck does not come without effort. I don’t carry anything now. I have good judgment. 🙂

very nice Lili-san! i think it is good to know that it’s not often the physical things you carry but what you carry in your heart and mind! 🙂
btw i have a health omamori in my truck from Sumiyoshi Taisha. i don’t want to go to amazon for a new omamuri and would rather find a way to get it from the temple. it’s my project for now. Mike
Hi, Mike-san! I am sorry.🙏 I have been busy this week.
When I return to Japan, I can get a new omamori and send it to you by mail. Well, it is a similar way to Amazon. I will let you know about my next trip.😊
thank you so much for the generous offer Lili-san! i’ll let you know if I find a way to get it before-hand 🙂
