My parents’ birthdays are in August. My grandpa passed away on my mom’s (his daughter’s) birthday.
In Japan, Obon is celebrated in August. It is a traditional festival, and Japanese people honor the spirits of their ancestors. During this time, many people visit graves and clean Buddhist altars.
