Hi,

I am back again. The weather is nice in Florida. Yesterday, I bought two plants in the Korean market.

  • Lettuce

Lettuce likes sun but is moist. The best temperature is between 60°F and 70°F (15°C–21°C).

  • Shishito/Japanese green pepper

Shishito is a Japanese green pepper. Like lettuce, shishitos grow in sunny spots and moist conditions. Compared to jalapeño, shishito is not spicy. Grilled shishito is a good side dish with cold beer.

I am familiar with Japanese vegetables. I usually buy vegetables and fruits in the Asian market. I like daikon (Japanese radish) miso soup and simmered sardines with daikon. Sometimes I cook at home. Well, I am not good at cooking, but I can cut and boil ingredients. When I was five, my dream was to become a cooking teacher.

Before going to the market, I ate at the Thai restaurant with my family. On Friday, one of the bloggers wrote about Japanese sushi rolls. I wanted to eat sushi rolls.

I tried two (Boston & Fried Fish) rolls.

I started my pepper seeds in January. I’ve got some small peppers starting to appear. Jalapenos and Jimmy Nardellos so far.
