Some of you might be off until Sunday. I returned to Florida on Tuesday.
Next month, my friend is coming to Florida. She is going to stay for a few days, so I’m making plans.
By the way, this year marks 20 years since I first visited America as a tourist. I feel 20 years is a long and short time.

Great post! I was reading something interesting the other day and it jogged a memory about something I’d completely forgotten: Disney’s River Country. It was a big thing maybe 25 years ago, I vaguely remember visiting it; it was all themed around outdoor stuff with water…ponds, rivers, “jungle cruises,” etc. For whatever reason, WDW just said ehh, we’re done with that, and closed it. Somehow, the author got pictures of what it looks like today and it’s wild how nature has reclaimed everything 😎
Yes, River Country opened in 1976 and closed permanently in 2001. I wanted to visit…😅 According to the article, Typhoon Lagoon became more popular.
By the way, Tokyo Disneyland opened in 1983, and I was born in the same year. Hong Kong Disneyland opened in 2005.
Disney is one of the best-known businesses in the world. 🙂
