Freedom Tower (Torre de la Libertad)
This place is historically important for Cubans (particularly the first-generation people). In 1925, the building was built for the office of The Miami News (1896-1988). In the 1960s, the government used the facility to process and document for Cubans.

Cuban Community (Calle Ocho)
There are two Cuban communities in South Florida. One is Hialeah, and the other one is Miami (Little Havana). Calle Ocho is in Little Havana. Versailles is the most famous Cuban restaurant in the area.

Waymo is a self-driving car. I saw it for the first time. Wow!
今日は、夫とマイアミの方へ行ってきました。
- 「フリーダム タワー」
キューバ人（特に第一世代の人達）にとって、忘れてはいけない場所って言ったらいいかな。1925年、「ザ・マイアミ・ニュース」という新聞社のオフィスとして建設。1960年代には、政府がカストロ政権を逃れてきたキューバ人達のビザの手続きや書類の管理等を行っていました。 一般的には、「(政治的)亡命者」という言葉を使うけど、夫もキューバ出身なので、ここでは使わず。ちなみに夫は、ちゃんとビザを取ってアメリカへ。
- 「キューバン コミュニティー」
サウスフロリダには、2つのキューバ人コミュニティーがあります。1つはハヤリア (ハイアリアと書かれることが多い)、もう1つはマイアミにあるリトルハバナ。「カジェ オチョ」は、リトルハバナにあるメインストリート。「ベルサイリェス」というキューバンレストランは、このエリアでもっとも有名。
- 「ウェイモ」
初めて自動運転する車を見ました。なんかビックリ！
