Hello!

How are you, everyone?

I am good. It has been a week since the last post. The road trip was fun, but I was tired and have back pain now.

We rented a car, a Chrysler Pacifica minivan, and returned to Florida on Sunday morning.  The total driving distance was approximately 3100 miles (5000 km). I don’t want to drive for a while. Every day, we drove over 7 hours.

After Orlando, we stopped in Mobile, Alabama, and New Orleans, Louisiana. The next day, we arrived in Houston, Texas. We stayed there for two nights.

On the way to go back home, we stopped in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Georgia. We visited 6 states on a 9-day trip (8 nights).

Houston looked like Miami. The difference is that more Mexicans are living in Houston, and more Cubans are living in Miami. We saw Spanish advertisements and signs. I like Mexican songs, so I was listening to Spanish radio while driving.

According to the statistics, California, Texas, and New Mexico have the largest Hispanic populations in the U.S. Historically, those states were territories of Mexico until the 19th century.

I am happy to arrive home safely.
