My favorite song is “Amazing Kiss” by BoA.
BoA is a South Korean singer. She debuted in 2000 and began her Japanese music career in 2001. When she sang “Amazing Kiss” in Japanese, she was 15 years old. She released Korean and English versions as well.
She is fluent in three languages (Korean, Japanese, and English). The trilingual singer was rare at the time. I became curious about how the song’s lyrics were translated. Japanese and Korean are grammatically and phonologically similar languages, but how about English?
