I am an Asian mom and educator. I am probably different from typical moms. I don’t care much about GPAs and test scores. I think morals and ethics are more important. Japanese kids learn about avoiding conflict (harmony), respecting people, politeness, and modesty.
There are also things you can learn through experience. You should try new things. Mistakes are part of growth.
