I am a pescatarian. A few days ago, I read a travel blog. This blogger wrote about the experience of traveling from Europe to Japan. I was with my family in Japan this May and June. So I want to share the photos of special in-flight meals.
Last time, I flew with Cathay Pacific Airlines. Two days before departure, I requested special meals for myself and my kids. I chose the no-beef meal and kids’ meals.
I usually choose the Asian Vegetarian Meal, No Beef Meal, or Vegetarian Meal. Airline meals vary by carrier. I like vegetables, but I was disappointed when I got a meal that was just roasted vegetables. I don’t say which airline it was. 😅

What a delightful and thoughtful post! ✈️🌸
I truly enjoyed reading about your in-flight meal experiences — it’s such a relatable and often overlooked part of travel. Your attention to detail, from the meal requests to the comparison between airlines, makes this both informative and engaging. I appreciate how you shared your honest impressions, especially about the vegetarian options — it adds such authenticity to your narrative.
The photos must beautifully complement your story, capturing those small but meaningful details that make every journey unique. It’s wonderful how you balance practicality (like meal planning for your family) with a genuine curiosity for travel and food experiences.
Thank you. 🙏 I forgot to add an explanation. All meals in photos are economy class.
I will stay in Japan next month for a short time. I am looking for hotels and train tickets. Tokyo is expensive compared to my hometown…😢
Thank you for clarifying! 🙏 Traveling in Japan can definitely be pricey, especially in Tokyo. For more budget-friendly options, you might consider staying in business hotels, capsule hotels, or guesthouses—they’re often clean, convenient, and much more affordable. For trains, looking into the Japan Rail Pass or regional passes could save you a lot if you plan to travel between cities. Even short trips can be made comfortable without overspending. I hope you find great options and enjoy your time in Japan!
