I don’t understand this question well. Because if I were guaranteed not to fail, I wouldn’t attempt anything. I would just do it. I don’t know if I will succeed or fail, so I would attempt or challenge it. According to the English dictionary, “attempt” means trying to do something difficult, and “do” means performing an action.
