Easter Island
Easter Island is located in the southeastern Pacific Ocean. Many tourists visit to see ancient monumental statues which are well-known as Moai. Until 1722, this island was the mainland for the Rapa Nui people. These monumental statues are local inhabitants’ symbols.

My native language is Japanese. The Japanese language is also different from other Asian languages. Some researchers say that Japanese is part of Korean or Chinese language families.
In my opinion, the standard Japanese language is part of the Japonic languages and doesn’t belong to other language families. The closest language could be Korean, not Chinese… Japanese and Chinese are similar in the written system, but the basic word order is different (Japanese and Korean are Subject + Object + Verb, but Chinese is Subject + Verb + Object).
By the way, I started studying Spanish again. I studied it before, but I forgot.😅
In the world, there are over 7000 languages.😊
