I like eating more than cooking, but sometimes I cook simple and healthy foods at home.
➀ Chirashi Sushi ちらし寿司

➁ Pasta & Noodles パスタや麺料理

➂ Okonomiyaki (Japanese Pancake) お好み焼き

➃ Desserts デザート類

I haven’t made desserts recently. I used to have a Japanese friend here. At that time, she was a housewife and very good at cooking. She taught me how to make desserts.
She made…😊↓

I have always written that I am not good at cooking. Yes, that is true. 😅 In the past, I attended a cooking class (one of my degrees is Hospitality Management). To finish the class, all students had to complete the dinner event that was held at the university.
All students were divided into 4 teams. My team consisted of 9 female students, and they were 2 Americans (born in America with Cuban heritage), 2 Brazilians (1 exchange student), and 4 Chinese (3 exchange students). We did all the tasks, including planning a menu, designing the invitation cards for guests, advertising, buying ingredients, decorating tables, and welcoming guests (within 1 month).
It was a school assignment, but guests paid for dinners. We worked hard and succeeded with our (one-night) restaurant. We invited over 70 guests, and that number was the most among all teams.
We had small arguments while preparing. Well, compared to other teams, my team was very good. Other team members were often fighting for different opinions.

Green curry was popular 🙂

And our restaurant’s name was SAKURA (cherry blossom in Japanese).
Cherry blossoms bloom for only one to two weeks.
Beauty doesn’t last forever, but memories last forever. 🌸
