Last night, suddenly the internet was disconnected.

During the road trip, we wanted to eat Mexican or Tex-Mex foods. But Texas Roadhouse was right across from our hotel. We chose it for convenience.

Texas Roadhouse is an American steakhouse chain. The first restaurant was founded in Indiana. In 1993, the second Texas Roadhouse opened in Gainesville, Florida. The following year, three additional restaurants opened in Ohio and Florida. Currently, the chain operates over 850 locations.

I noticed customers were eating peanuts. I wondered where they got peanuts.

I asked a server, “Where can I get some peanuts?”

She gave us peanuts.

Texas leads the U.S. in beef production.  I don’t eat meat, so I ordered the grilled shrimp.

I liked this restaurant.

Photos are a little blurry…

What a delightful little travel story! 😊 Sometimes the most memorable meals are the ones we discover simply because they are conveniently located across from the hotel.

I enjoyed the little detail about the peanuts—sometimes it is the smallest curiosity that becomes part of the travel experience. And the grilled shrimp sounds like a good choice, especially since you don’t eat meat.

      Yes!

Well, I can eat meat (not religiously prohibited). I want to keep the same weight, so I usually eat seafood.

During the trip, I discovered new places 😊
