I believe in karma.

According to Buddhist teachings, karma refers to intentional actions. Some people say it as “the natural law of cause and effect.”

I think moral values and personal standards are related to doing actions.

In Japan, many folktales feature stories of animals showing gratitude to the kindness of humans. In other words, if you are kind to people and animals, they will be kind to you.

Before Buddhism was introduced, Shinto was the major Japanese religion. Shinto is deeply connected to nature. Since old times, animals have been believed to be guardian deities (e.g., chickens and foxes).

I will share folktales soon.
