Dear Susu
Why did you cross the rainbow bridge?
You wanted to see your babies?
You were a beautiful and wonderful entertainer.
If you want to see me again, come back anytime.
You have wings.
You are free to fly.

Last night, suddenly I lost my parakeet. She was 7 years old. In general, most parakeets live 5 to 10 years.
In March 2019, I welcomed two female parakeets. I called a white one Shishi and a yellow one Susu.
And two years later, I welcomed a young male parakeet, Felix. Susu produced eggs. Her eggs hatched, and two babies were born. Unfortunately, babies died. Shishi also died.
Susu and Felix liked being together. They were often singing and kissing.

Felix is alone. He looks sad now. Susu died on White Day (Japan is 13 hours ahead). That day, men give gifts to women in Japan.
Birds enjoy playing with companions. Not soon, but I may welcome a new feathered friend for Felix.
