Last month, I got a small gift.

My second daughter often practices drawing. She showed me two paintings and asked me.
Who are they?
I don’t know… I searched for information.
The first one is Mona Lisa for sure. It was painted by the Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci. For a long time, researchers have discussed who the model for the Mona Lisa is. As commonly believed, Mona Lisa is a portrait of Lisa Gherardini Del Giocondo.
The second one is Woman with a Pearl Necklace. It was painted by the Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer. To be honest, I have seen it before, but I had no idea. The model is still unknown. Most likely, the upper-class woman is wearing pearl earrings and necklace.
Thanks to her, I learned a little about European art. Can she be an artist in the future…?
By the way, I received the Canva 100 Design Milestone Badge in April. 😊
