Chubu Centrair International Airport

I am originally from Nagoya, Japan. Chubu Centrair International Airport is a major airport in my hometown. Nagoya Airport (also called Komaki Airport or Nagoya Airfield) used to be a major airport until 2005, but it was replaced by Chubu Centrair International Airport.

Chubu Centrair International Airport is clean and big. Well, I can’t compare it to Haneda Airport (Tokyo International Airport).

The day before returning to America, I stayed at a Toyoko Inn hotel near the airport. It was cheaper than staying in Tokyo.

Toyoko Inn is a popular business hotel chain in Japan and other Asian countries. It’s not luxurious, but I like its simple, practical style.

The next day, I went to the airport at 6 a.m. to change flights (because my original flight was canceled). Breakfast started at 6:30 a.m., so I missed it. Also, my flight from Nagoya to Tokyo was delayed. The pilot would be in a hurry. We arrived in 40 minutes, while it usually takes about 1 hour. There were no complimentary beverages served on the flight.

Misfortunes never come singly.

I hope I will not have any trouble next time.
