Generation Gap and Technology

Two weeks ago, I read this blog. → Why Gen Z Redefines Success Amid Economic Challenges – Generation X Blogspot

There are roughly six generations.

  • Traditionalists: born 1925 to 1945
  • Baby Boomers: born 1946 to 1964
  • Generation X: born 1965 to 1980
  • Generation Y (Millennials): born 1981 to 1994/6
  • Generation Z: born 1997 to 2012
  • Generation Alpha: born after the early 2010s/2013-

My kids were born between 2013 and 2022. They are growing up surrounded by technology. I agree that technology makes life more convenient. At the same time, many kids do miss face-to-face interactions.

I am generation Y (Millennials). Have you ever experienced a generation gap at school or in the workplace?

I was a little surprised when I talked to Gen Z. Over five years ago, we talked about dating. I have never used dating apps, but she did. Dating apps existed when I was young. But back then, sugar dating (finding a sugar daddy or sugar mommy) was more commonly known in Japan.

AI is changing our daily lives. After reading experiences of dating AI boyfriends and girlfriends, I was more surprised.

I don’t criticize them, but how do they date?
