I woke up early yesterday because I was worried about Hurricane(now Tropical Depression) Helene.
昨日はハリケーンが心配で、早く起きました。
The weather here was only rain and a little wind.

I remember when Hurricane Irma hit Florida in 2017. A tree fell on the roof and damaged the ceiling. And, for the first time, I experienced a power outage for one week.
2017年に、ハリケーン・イルマがフロリダを直撃した時のことを覚えています。屋根に木が倒れて、天井に大きな被害。それから、初めて1週間の停電を経験。
The hurricane season continues until October. I feel hurricanes are scary…

I live in Brisbane. It’s a city in Australia. I know Florida, but I have never been there. Here, it is cool, but it will get much hotter. I first turned on the air conditioner at the end of august, when it was still winter. I only use my air con for cooling.
Seasons are opposite. 🙂 Well, South Florida is hot even in winter. 😅
