Seto City is near my hometown, Nagoya City. The Seto area is famous for the production of traditional pottery.
Kato Shirozaemon is credited as the first person to produce the pottery in the 13th century. He went to China and studied the art of pottery.
Photos are a little old, so not good quality. I remember I bought a coffee mug and a lucky cat figurine.
The festival is held in September every year. Visitors can also eat street foods.
