Review: Pax by Sara Pennypacker

I want to share a book review by Vivi.

Vivi is my eldest daughter.

Pax was written by Sara Pennypacker and illustrated by Jon Klassen.

The story starts with a fox named Pax and his owner or owners (I do not know if the father counts as an owner). Because of the war, Peter, who is eleven, has to release Pax.

The death of Runt and Bristle’s parents is very blunt. Also, I wonder what the timeline is. It says there is a war. At that time, phones did not exist.

I liked parts about how Pax finds other foxes, like Runt and his sister.
